I can’t vouch for the playlist as a whole yet, because I’ve only listened to about half of it so far. But this is amazing.
I’ve been trying to listen to country music lately to embrace my “roots” or something, but I find myself sitting in my car thinking: I can’t listen to this anymore. So I switch back to my “alternative” or “indie” or “hipster” music or whatever you want to call it. And this playlist is a nice way for me to feel like I’m listening to something close to country, but still it’s not ruined by the “entertainment business” and whatnot. I never even considered “folk” before this.
And maybe nothing I’ve said here is “right” and I’m just “musically ignorant.”
Enough quotation marks for you?
